1. Color is the light reflected off of objects. White is the reflection of all colors, while black is the absorption of all colors. Lighter values tend to make people happier, while darker values have the opposite affect. The hue red tends to make people think about love. While the hue blue tends to make people depressed, it is linked to sadness. Really intensely bright colors tend to make people feel joyous and energetic. Colors have a great affect on people's emotions.
2. A theoretical aspect of color that intrigues me the most is the affect of color on emotion. It is neat how you can use a color to change someone's psychological mood. A color can stimulate you and make you desire to move and succeed. While a color can also have the negative affect upon you.
3.In the Color video the fact of how passionate artists get about color impacted me the most. Artists will go to all lengths to see the color that they desire. They feel the same emotions as their viewers through these colors as well, in their works of art.
4. In the Feelings video I was impacted greatly by the theory that color can show strong emotions. Patriotism, depression, religion, and much more can be represented with colors. The values, hues, and intensities used all make the difference in how you perceive the color. Your perception of the color your relation to the art work affect your emotions all together.
