I had quite some difficulty with making a logo for myself at first. I had no clue what simple thing could represent me. I was stumped. The elements I thought of were not simple enough to create and be representational. In the end though this is a very neat project!
2. Describe the process: creative thinking skills and ideas you used in logo creation.
The process I went through was long. I kept on sketching and jotting down ideas, that in the end I tossed away. I finally came down to a few images that I liked the best. After that I improved these images and chose the one I liked best from those. The main ideas I used were the things I love, which is Fibers work.
3.What was the most important discovery you made in the creation of your logo?
The most important discovery I made while creating this logo is that I needed to be more simplistic. My ideas at first were too busy and did not get the point across.
4. What is the most important information you learned from watching the videos, power point, and reading material for this project? What is your opinion of the videos?
The most important thing I learned from the materials was the type of logos and symbols; how they work in different cultures. I liked the videos. The bottled up video really showed an insight on the process industries go through for packaging.
